The Kaagbaan Runway is available for air traffic again as of this evening. After several months of maintenance, the work was completed on time and the runway can continue to be used safely in the coming years. Read more about the project here.

Swipe door een week van Zahra Merchant, Innovator bij Schiphol Group. Een 'goedemorgen' van de receptionisten en wat fruit dat wordt aangeboden als gezonde keuze en om voedselverspilling tegen te gaan: zo begin ik mijn werkdag. Elke ochtend start ik met een team stand-up. Als Chapter Lead Robotics verzamel ik gebruikersinzichten en onderhoud ik contact met stakeholders om de toekomst van robotica vorm te geven. Daarvoor kom ik op unieke werkplekken, bijvoorbeeld de bagagehal. Mijn dagen zijn gewijd aan het verkennen van nieuwe mogelijkheden in robotica. Hiervoor heb ik veel contact met bijvoorbeeld universiteiten en bezoek ik veel conferenties. Elk moment biedt een kans om innovatie te omarmen en de toekomst van Schiphol te definiëren.
